This is just to say thank you for the opportunity to be with the Beversbrook team! The whole 9-week placement has been well spent with staffs who valued me as part of the team and supported my learning from the beginning until my last day. I observed and be a part of everyday practicalities of which helped my understanding of how care was within primary care. To the nurses and GP's, continue to provide excellent service and compassionate care to all your patients and service users. Great team indeed! Always very helpful, especially young man on reception who tries his best to accommodate. Doctors have time for you and make feel comfortable and not wasting their time. Nurse Practitioners excellent with advice and care. The Centre is as far as myself concerned excellent as was worried when moved here after having such a wonderful surgery where we used to live for over 30yrs.

No particular comments. All staff work very hard though some seem to have more empathy than others. Too few full time GPS means a lack of continuity.

In order to see a GP in a reasonable space of time, I was told to use a specific app which was texted to my phone. This would then do a first diagnosis and determine if the surgery could make time for me. The app barely works, crashed and locked up repeatedly on phone so I moved to a laptop. Crashed repeatedly again but eventually finished and told me I would need an appt that day. Given the poor performance of the app I had to follow up with another call to the surgery later on to confirm they had received the results, an appt was then made over the phone. So, I question why this couldn’t be done in the first place? What happens if you choose the wrong option from a limited list of responses to a question and get mis-diagnosed by the app? What if the unstable app doesn’t actually request the appointment as it should? I’m fairly tech savvy but I fear for the older or infirm who would really struggle with this. Anyway, when I eventually got in to see the doctor she was great, took the time to listen and help and followed up the next day as promised, very happy with that side of things!

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you have had problems with the Doctorlink service. The Doctorlink development team would be very interested to speak to you about your experience as they are always looking for ways to improve the site so that it can be of more benefit to patients. You can complete a 'contact me' form with you concerns using the website address www.doctorlink.com/contact/ and one of the Doctorlink team will be able to contact you to discuss your concerns. However, I am pleased to hear that the rest of the process worked well in that we received your Doctorlink summary and using the information you provided and the outcome suggested, we were able to book you a suitable appointment, with the most appropriate clinician in a timely manner. In future, there is no need to telephone us beforehand, you can use Doctorlink to check your symptoms and a summary will be sent through to us to book your appointment, if appropriate, accordingly. If you continue to have problems using the Doctorlink website, please contact us and ask to speak to my colleague Jack Tavener, who will be more than happy to assist you with any technical problems you may be having.
